Formed in 1999, Bookkeeping Direct originally concentrated on selling and training for computer programs. We still provide classroom and on-site training, sales and support for all major accounting software.We can sort out which bookkeeping package is best for your business, set it up in consultation with your accountant and provide you with training and support.
With the current economic climate, the demand for our services has increased to performing bookkeeping services for customers who decide that it is better to pay a small amount each week or month to free them up to work on their business. In most cases the work we do in a couple of hours takes the normal business owner a full day and our work is right when finished.
We can even do your books from our office thus saving you the expense of a accounting package and email/print the required reports through to you when required. With our system called BankLink, it enables us to gather statement data directly from over 100 banks, building societies, credit unions and other financial institutions, thus saving hours of manual entry and you money.
We offer a free one hour initial consultation of your existing system to new clients.
Our bookkeepers work closely with your tax accountant to provide reliable and accurate end of year accounts in either paper based or electronic format, as required. Our bookkeepers are members of a recognised professional body, exempt persons under section 25L(6) of ITAA 1936, or their work is supervised by a registered tax agent.
ATO Approved BAS Agents - we can lodge your Business Activity Statement directly to the ATO via the Portal.
